Hi, I’m Katie Silk! I’m a tattoo artist specializing in illustrative and neo-traditional work, with a soft spot for lady faces, florals, bold details, and pieces that feel a little weird in the best way.
I’ve always been drawn to art and creativity, and I attended college for art before eventually finding my way into tattooing. Tattooing ended up being the perfect mix of everything I love — drawing, design, connecting with people, and creating something personal that someone gets to carry with them.

My Purpose
A huge part of why I love this job is the people.
I’ve always felt especially connected to people who are a little outside the box — the overthinkers, the neurospicy, the people in recovery, the socially awkward, the sensitive, the weird, and the people who have just been through some shit.
Life can be messy. Brains can be messy. I really value creating a space where people can show up exactly as they are, without feeling like they have to pretend to be anything else.
And at the end of our collaboration I want to send people home with a piece of art on their body that feels personal, intentional, and completely theirs.

I love illustrative and neo-traditional tattoos, especially anything feminine, weird, dark, nostalgic, or a little whimsical. Lady faces, florals, animals, creepy-cute stuff, vintage imagery, and character-driven pieces are some of my favorites. I’m always happiest when I get to take an idea and turn it into something custom that feels completely your own.
